To Become a Food Truck Volunteer, the following is required:
- Ability to travel regionally in Northwestern Lower Michigan (Benzie, Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, & Antrim Counties)
- 4~8 hours per week (1 day/week)
- Receive front-of-house training
- Writing down food orders from patrons in an organized, timely fashion and passing them through the truck window to the SDFT cooks
- Writing the menu board
- Retrieving completed food orders from SDFT chefs and serving them to assigned patrons
- Free shift meal and required uniform
- Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time, in all weather conditions
