Front-of-House Volunteer (FoHV) Program
To Become a Food Truck Volunteer, the following is required: Ability to travel regionally in Northwestern Lower Michigan (Benzie, Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, & Antrim Counties) 4~8 hours per week (1 day/week) Receive front-of-house training Writing down food orders from patrons in an organized, timely fashion and passing them through the truck window to the SDFT cooks Writing the menu board Retrieving completed food orders from SDFT chefs and serving them to assigned patrons Free shift meal and required uniform Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time, in... Truck-2-Neighbor (T2N) Program
Soulful Delights Food Truck: SDFT will be a non-profit organization (501c) that delivers zero-cost meals to vulnerable communities amidst the area of Northwestern Lower Michigan, across a 3-County region (Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska). SDFT will provide a scheduled food-production service to participating organizations at a mutually agreeable time and location through our T2N Program. Locations will include (but are not limited to): churches & food pantries, housing shelters, hospitals, schools, and other 501c organizations.
